SerendipiTea's certified organic & kosher Ceremonial Matcha is Japanese shade-grown tencha (green tea) made from Ichibancha (first harvest) leaves that are milled to a super fine powder. Perfect for formal tea ceremonies & serious matcha lovers. Delight in the vibrant, jade green color & enjoy the mild sweetness of this special cha. Astringency from the catechins perfectly balances the sweetness from the L-theanine amino acids ultimately delivering a smooth, creamy texture when whisked to a delicate froth in one's preferred bowl. Store in air-tight container (or our zip-lock bag) away from light, heat & moisture at around 60˚. Refrigeration is recommended.
