This batch was created from the salvaged “Barn Wood” which happens to be hard maple. The wood has nail holes and discoloration that gives them unique characteristics. What makes our bread knives different than the rest is that each and every knife has a handle that has been handcrafted to its own individual shape. Not one knife handle is the same. The number one response we receive when customers grip our custom shaped handles is “wow”. Note: On natural wood variation each piece is made to order and due to the natural grain and tone of wood no two pieces are alike as seen in the products photographs.
