Shape and form of the world around her inspires her work. On her last trip to Italy, she was able to meet with world-renowned glass artists; And later study with them.
Growing up helping in her parents’ pet shop started her on the path of involvement with animals and sea creatures. That start was enhanced by her trips to her family’s farm in upstate NY and her grandmother’s house in Montauk NY where she was a trail guide. Spending time out in nature with her horse Jellybean and her dogs provide great inspiration for her work.
