After spending 3 years living in Fiji, I arrived back in Sonoma County determined to make a change. Witnessing first hand the devastating effects of plastic and waste in our oceans had made an impact. Envisioning what our planet would be like for my future grandchildren gave me a "pit in my stomach" feeling. I decided to put my retail experience to use and start a low waste, sustainable products business. Sonoma County Trading Company started as a website in October 2021, grew into a small shop which included a re-fillery inside of a co-op in late February 2022, then a stand alone shop six months later in August 2022. Our Cloverdale & Healdsburg locations are unique shops that carry eco-friendly products and refillery, as well as home and gift items made by local artisans.
