Medium ruby in color; aromas of cacao nib and cranberry with a mouthwateringly tart finish. Produced with grapes sourced from the Foppoli Estate, located in the heart of the Russian River Valley and known the world over for producing exceptional Pinot Noir. The Russian River is characterized by its cool climate and the rolling fog from the neighboring Pacific Ocean. The cooling maritime effects allow the grapes to ripen slowly. Often resulting in the fruit achieving a rare balance of ripeness and acidity. This wine is an expression of that balance, embodying the art of craft winemaking.
