Medium gold in color; opens with aromas of Asian pear and on the palate expresses candied lemon and stone. The finish is bright and crisp -- the perfect balance of fruit and acid. The Aquarius Ranch Vineyard is nestled next to a old Redwood forest on the valley floor and is impacted by the maritime climate which provides moist cooling winds that offset warm summer days, a distinction of this AVA. The cooling effects allow the grapes to ripen slowly. Often resulting in the fruit achieving a rare balance of sugar and acidity. This wine is an expression of balance. For maximum enjoyment serve at 48-53 degrees.
