2024 Knight's Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Our Sauvignon Blanc has quickly become a favorite of both club members and visitors alike. This wine is packed with Passion Fruit, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Jasmine, Key Lime Pie, and Lime Vanilla Custard with notes of poached pears, spearmint and floral tea. Very rarely do you see these many aromatics on display all at once. If you let the wine breath a bit oxygen reveals subtle dried herbs and tea leaf, a beautiful expression of the varietal. This Sauvignon Blanc was fermented over 3 weeks in very old white wine barrels to add a little texture and depth to its brisk acidity and fresh, clean profile. The flavors of fresh Passion Fruit and Ruby Red Grapefruit mingle with the acidity on the finish creating a lively exciting wine from start to finish. The barrel fermentation provides some creaminess that helps balance out the zippy acidity. This Sauvignon Blanc is best consumed LIGHTLY chilled upon release, in the spring and summer, when the weather is warm.
