Our Malbec exudes notes of blackberries and black cherries, Violets and perfumed flowers, pomegranate, complimented by notes of wet tobacco leaf, cedar cigar box, forest floor and Earl grey tea. There is a warm, comforting feel to the aromas, and they are both familiar and exotic at the same time. The flavors echo the aroma with rich blackberries, ripe black cherries and tobacco leaf with a generous but soft tannin and a touch of lingering acidity. 2021 shows the intensity of the vintage with push and rich tannins and a rich core of fruit and tannin.
